Dear Hillcrest Families,
Today is National School Lunch Hero Day. Normally, we would celebrate this day at Hillcrest with Thank You posters made by our students and Thank You songs sung by each grade level at the start of that day’s lunch. Given the school closure, we will have to express our thanks virtually to Mary Savinski and Kim Watroba, our Hillcrest cafeteria staff. Middle school yearbooks will arrive sometime mid-June. A distribution plan will be made at that time and families will be informed (through an all call and blast email). Families can pay off their balance owed on the yearbook (if they owe anything) at http://jostensyearbooks.com/?REF=A03504700 . We will be reaching out to families in the next 2-3 weeks to remind them if they owe any money for their yearbook.

Understand that “school” is still in session and will be until June 11th. It is even more important for your child to engage in the online practice each of our teacher’s is providing. Each classroom teacher has a google classroom up and running and conducts once a week online meetings with the class. This provides an opportunity for your child to see their teacher and classmates.
Our staff made the...
