A huge Sheffield shout out to all our students and staff for being so welcoming and
accommodating when our Gill friends joined lunches and were a part of our school this
past Tuesday and Wednesday!
We have an All School Meeting on Friday, January 18 at 2:15 in our auditorium. All
families are welcome to attend.
We are excited about launching our next round of campaigning for student council
members. A flyer went home to all third, fourth, and fifth grade students with the roles
and responsibilities of running for a classroom spot on the council. The new council will
be voted on by their peers on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. Two of our Friends Of
Sheffield members have graciously agreed again to come in and assist with crossing off
student names when they collect their ballot, and again crossing off their name when
entering their ballot. Each voter will be offered an eI voted todayf sticker to proudly
wear. The new council will grow from a 6 member group to a 9 member group and will
officially begin in February.
