December 6, 2019

Dear Hillcrest Families,

What an unusual week we’ve had!  Starting off the month of December with two Snow Days and Early Release Day was a big surprise!  We’ve been working on getting settled back into our school and classroom routines. Let’s hope that the weather cooperates over the next two weeks and that we can make it all the way to the school vacation week without any more interruptions!  I hope that you all received the automated phone calls from Superintendent Michael Sullivan announcing the Snow Days. If you did not, it may be that we do not have the correct phone number in our school database. So, if you did not receive a phone call, please be sure to call us at 863-9526 stop by our main office to let Mrs. Prokowich know.  She can make any necessary changes to your contact information.

Please be on the lookout for your child’s report card in his or her backpack today.  These standards-based report cards reflect your child’s growth during the first trimester of the school year.  The information in these reports is based on direct observation, formal assessments and student work samples. These provide a written follow-up to the conversations you had with your child’s teachers at Parent Conferences in November.
