Dear Hillcrest Families,
It’s very quiet here at Hillcrest as I write this final issue of Hillcrest Friday News for the 2022-2023 school year. I already miss all of our students and the wonderful energy they bring to school each day!
A few important news items:

If you need to reach us here at Hillcrest over the summer, please call my office directly at 413-863-7400. Mrs. Prokowich finishes up her school year in early July, so I am your primary contact person from July 11th - August 14th.

GMRSD Food Services is hosting a Summer Meals Kick-Off on Monday, June 26th from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. in the field between Hillcrest and Sheffield. Please see the Food Services attachments for more information about Summer Meals.

You will receive your Back to School welcome packet in mid-August and these will contain a personal note from your child’s classroom teacher.

Thursday, August 31st – First day of school for First Grade

Thursday, August 31st & Friday, September 1st – Kindergarten & Preschool Orientation

Wednesday, September 6th – First day of school for Kindergarten & Preschool (Half-Days on September 6th, 7th & 8th)

Monday, September 11th – Kindergarten & Preschool full days begin

Friends of Hillcrest is sponsoring a Back to School Playground Meet-Up on Sunday, August 20th. This is a fun way to meet your child’s classmates and their families and to learn about Friends of Hillcrest. Please see the attachment for details.
