Happy New Year! Welcome back! I hope you all enjoyed time with family and friends over the break!
We have experienced some issues with our boilers. Tomorrow, January 3rd, there is work being done on one of the boilers. It is doubtful that the heat will need to be off, however there is always a chance that the heat may be shut down for a few hours for necessary repairs to be conducted. There is no Afterschool tomorrow, December 20th. Afterschool will resume on Monday, January 6, 2020.
Tomorrow is the last day to bring in non-perishable items for our food drive.
Thank you in advance to all families who contributed to our food drive! We had a total of 209 items at December 6th tally. Tomorrow our student council reps will deliver this week’s final donations to the Montague Catholic Social Ministries.
School will be closed from December 23-January 1st.
We will reopen on Thursday, January 2, 2020.

2020 is nearly upon us, though it feels like just yesterday we were enjoying ice cream at the start
of the school year social. Now we're enjoying ice at the end of the calendar year!
Next week is the last week before vacation. We have a full week of school, barring any blizzards.
Friday, 12/20/19 will be our December All-School Sing. The 6th Grade Bazaar will be held on
Wednesday, 12/18 and Thursday, 12/19. Friday, 12/20 is Pajama day for Gill Elementary Students
and staff. If you would also like to show your school spirit by wearing pajamas all day,

Snow pants, and snow boots and mittens -- oh my! Now that the winter weather is here to stay, we find ourselves focused on winter clothing -- hats, scarves, mittens, boots, snow pants, and jackets are in abundance! We are so happy when students arrive at school prepared to play outdoors with all this essential gear. Getting out into the fresh air is a very important part of our school day. We have an All School Meeting tomorrow in our auditorium from 2:15-2:45. All are welcome to attend.
The week of December 16 a full week of school. We end Friday, December 20th at our normal time of 3:15 pm.
