There has been lots of excitement in the air here at Hillcrest this week! Friends of Sheffield (Sheffield's version of PTO) will have their first meeting at Sheffield in the teacher's lounge on 9/18/19 at 5:30. We are asking that if someone needs childcare they let us know via email (friendsofsheffield@gmail.com) or phone (413.676.9006) by 9/11/19. Our 2nd meeting will be at Riff's North restaurant in TF on 10/16/19 at 5:30. Childcare will not be provided for off-site meetings.

Hooray! We are so happy to have your children here at Hillcrest with us! Our first two days have been filled with welcoming back our returning students and meeting new students and their families. Our first graders are settling into their new roles as the leaders of our school and our preschool and kindergarten students have all had their Orientation Meetings with their teachers. We have changed the time we open our doors for students to enter the building to 8:15. There is adult coverage to supervise students only between 8:15-8:30.
We’re excited to not only say our fifth graders are the leaders of the school, but to actually act on it. This school year we have three recesses and lunches. The three fifth grade classrooms have been divided up so that each classroom has a dedicated grade they will be outside for recess with and will be eating with in the cafeteria.
