School Committee Vacancy
The school committee is seeking a replacement to fill the vacancy created with the recent resignation of April Reipold. We are looking to fill the seat until the next round of elections in May. This seat will then be open to all Montague resident candidates to fill the remaining one year of what was originally a three-year term (2017-2020). Ms. Reipold held one of the 6 Montague resident seats on the 9 member committee. The other 3 seats must be held by Gill citizens. The district is now accepting letters of interest from any Montague resident. Letters should be sent to the superintendent’s office at 35 Crocker Ave in Turners Falls by 4:00 pm on Tuesday, February 5th. The school committee will consider all applicants and select the new member by majority vote on Tuesday, February 12th.
