● All School Sing Celebration is what we would normally be planning this time of year to celebrate everyone moving on at our June sing. This tradition has evolved to include the entire Sheffield school. We recognize our volunteers, we hear our chorus sing, our band play, Ms. King leads everyone singing songs that our fifth graders pick from the repertoire of songs taught throughout the year, and I provide a short speech about moving forward, then the families of fifth graders are invited to join their child in our cafeteria to eat...

● i-Ready is a computerized tool we purchased as a district because it is tailored to your child’s learning for both reading and math. It is recommended that your child engage with this tool for 30 minutes a day for each subject. Minutes will not show up unless your child is on; a Mac, Windows, Chromebook, or an ipad. If your child is accessing i-Ready from your phone, the minutes will not show up.

● Our staff has begun the process of cleaning and packing up their classrooms for the summer. I provided brown paper handled bags to collect and place student personal effects as they go through desks/cubbies/pencil cases, etc. You will receive a date and time in early June to collect your child/ren’s bag.
