Dear Families,
I am writing to inform you of a number of changes in speech & language services at Great Falls Middle School/Turners Falls High School. This notice is also being mailed out to affected student families.
Cassie Holmes, our SLP-A for the past two years is following her passion and continuing her wonderful services to our students and school community, in the role of our Life Skills & Transition teacher at Turners Falls High School. She was the teacher for our summer program and has continued to shine as we have started off the new school year.

School Picture Day is Tuesday, September 12th. Picture order forms were sent home in your child’s blue folder earlier this week. If you are ordering school pictures, please return your completed form & payment by Tuesday morning. If you need an extra form, please call the school office at 863-9526.

This year we had an expanded group of 15 Rising Star Youth Leaders (RSYL) largely between the ages of 13-16 from our middle /high school. This year’s group, led by district staff members David Potter and Stacey Langknecht, had a strong community exploration focus. Join us Wednesday, August 23rd for our New Student & Family Orientation for Great Falls Middle School and Turners Falls High School.
The middle school orientation is from 4:00 to 5:30, and the high school orientation is from 5:30 to 7:00pm.
This is a great opportunity to learn more about the school and get to meet some of our staff. We will have sandwiches and snacks in the cafeteria at the end of each event.
