Vehicle Construction with Mrs. Yurkevicz
This week my students used their fine motor, visual-motor, focus, and sequencing skills to assemble a model truck, helicopter and car. I was proud of how patient they all were with getting through all the steps to get this done. It was great to see how their hard work paid off when everyone got to go home with a small vehicle once they were finished.

Dear Hillcrest Families,
Welcome to December! Mother Nature treated us with a cold and windy blast on the first day of December and it was a good reminder that we all need to bundle up! Please be sure that your child has a hat, mittens and warm winter jacket at school every single day. And, once the snowy weather begins, snow pants and snow boots are essential. If you are having trouble obtaining winter outdoor gear, please let your child’s teacher know.
