Hello Gill-Montague Families, We are Keisha Green and Safire DeJong from the Collaborative for Educational Services. We have been invited by GMRSD to gather information about the equity and civil rights issues that students, family/guardians, and staff have experienced in the school district. Thank you to all the families who came out last night to enjoy our annual Winter Concert and Art Show!  The musicians and singers were amazing! Our students created beautiful artwork that lined our hallways for all to enjoy!  My appreciation to both Ms. King and Ms. Castro-Santos for all their time and dedication to making this a wonderful event!   The school committee is seeking a replacement to fill the vacancy created with the recent resignation of April Reipold. We are looking to fill the seat until the next round of elections in May. This seat will then be open to all Montague resident candidates to fill the remaining one year of what was originally a three-year term (2017-2020). Ms. Reipold held one of the 6 Montague resident seats on the 9 member committee. The other 3 seats must be held by Gill citizens.   Hillcrest Elementary School Friday News January 11, 2019   Dear Hillcrest Families, We had an exciting week here at Hillcrest!  On Tuesday and Wednesday, we were joined by Gill Elementary School’s kindergarten and first grade students and teachers.  These special guests settled right into our Library and our Art Room for their daily learning and they joined our Hillcrest students at lunch and recess each day.  It was sort of like a big field trip for the Gill Elementary students.
