Hello Gill-Montague Families,
We are Keisha Green and Safire DeJong from the Collaborative for Educational Services. We have been invited by GMRSD to gather information about the equity and civil rights issues that students, family/guardians, and staff have experienced in the school district. In addition to gathering information, our role is to support a process where students, staff, and family/guardians use the information that is gathered to develop plans for transforming those issues in GMRSD schools.

Thank you to all the families who came out last night to enjoy our annual Winter Concert and Art Show! The musicians and singers were amazing! Our students created beautiful artwork that lined our hallways for all to enjoy! My appreciation to both Ms. King and Ms. Castro-Santos for all their time and dedication to making this a wonderful event!

The school committee is seeking a replacement to fill the vacancy created with the recent resignation of April Reipold. We are looking to fill the seat until the next round of elections in May. This seat will then be open to all Montague resident candidates to fill the remaining one year of what was originally a three-year term (2017-2020). Ms. Reipold held one of the 6 Montague resident seats on the 9 member committee. The other 3 seats must be held by Gill citizens.
